Read MoreAll around us we can see the beauty of the ocean and the fragile shoreline with an amazing variety of seabirds. We have a wondeful selection of arbutus and garry oak trees. They are surrounded by fantastic wildflowers such as camas in the spring. These two trees exist only in a very small geographical area and are constantly threatened because they grow best in the same terrain as we like to build our houses. Issues such as these are important to the residents of this area and this section is intended to become a source of information and discussions on these issues.
