Help clean out Ivy, Broom, Daphne, Lesser Celandine and many more invasive species from special areas in our community. Here are 2 projects that you might wish to check out. Not only will you get some great exercise but you may learn what plants to control on your own property and how to go about doing so.

Robin Lane Restoration Plan (south side)

Location: Robin Lane is an unmarked Saanich street between 2681 and 2695 Queenswood Drive, across Queenswood from the building site at 2690 Queenswood Drive. It is about 200 meters north of Telegraph Bay Road, on the left. There will be a sign on Queenswood Drive.

Call Sylvia or Ron for the next date when they will be working.

Parking: Park along Queenswood Drive or Robin Lane, taking care not to disturb lawn or undisturbed soil areas.

Tools: Bring a spade, shovel or post-hole digger for Lamium (dead nettle) and pruning loppers for English ivy, if possible. We will have a few extra tools.

Sylvia has been known to bribe workers with home-made cookies!

Please respond by phone or email (see below) if you can help out.

Hope to see you on Robin Lane!
